Van Hook Glade Campground

The campground is situated in a grove of mature Rhododendrons,hardwood and some Spruce. Sites are secluded and well screened from one another - very picturesque campground. US Rt. 64 is a spectacular scenic byway through Cullasaga River Gorge. Van Hook Glade Campground's 18 sites ( 8 secluded) have parking spurs, fireplaces, tables and tent pads. Drinking water and flush toilets are provided within walking distance of each site. A building with two showers and two toilets are inside the loop.

Trout fishing, picnicking and swimming is available at Cliffside Recreation Area, 0.1 miles
from campground on US Rt. 64. Boating is not permitted.

Hiking:

Van Hook Glade Trail - 0.3 miles (connects to Cliffside Recreation Area)
Cliffside Recreation Area offers 6 trails ranging from easy to
moderate and 0.5 miles to 1.5 miles in length.

Van Hook glade is a short drive from Dry Falls and Whitewater Falls, and registered campers may use these facilities at no charge.

campground on US Rt. 64.
